As well as her clinical work, Xing Yi has been giving music lessons since 2009. She gives individual piano and violin lessons to children and adults. She has the experience in offering classroom music, music for very young children, music for babies and string ensembles. Besides that, Xing Yi also has the experience to play and perform in the musical shows and in the orchestra. She has participated in many choir performance and competition too.

 

Xing Yi is familiar with the ABRSM and TRINITY exam syllabus from Grade 1 to 8. She often prepare students for the music examination. She also teach pupil who likes to learn as self-interest. 

 

Xing Yi believes music lesson is more than just to learn to play an instrument, but also, to explore, to understand and to learn to appreciate different musical styles. Therefore, she enjoys sharing a variety of musical knowledge with her students; such as playing techniques, music theory, aural, genre & styles, music history, etc.
